A curious, creative, and empathetic digital strategist based in Calgary, Alberta. A formal education in marketing, extensive background in manufacturing, and insatiable curiosity with how things work - allowing for a unique combination of perspectives with one foot firmly planted in the analog world, and the other in the clouds of the digital world.
I grew up in and around my father's manufacturing business and have always been fascinated with how things are made, especially with the processes and systems used to make them. I have a traditional business education, with a B.A. in Marketing, a lifetime of DIY projects, and interests that have me constantly learning.
The first thing I can remember being completely obsessed with was skiing. All winter my dad and I would watch the weather for big storms and make last minute plans to head to the hills with the best chances for untracked and deep powder snow.
Outside of skiing in the winter I spent a lot of time building, flying, crashing, and re-building RC airplanes, messing around on early game consoles, the family computer, and riding my bike in Fish Creek Park until the street lights came on to let us know it was time to go home.
I first started working at the family business for a couple weeks over the summer at 12 or 13 years old. I spent the majority of time in hardware department, packaging nuts and bolts for the various different grain bin packages.
When I turned 16 I started working on repair crews traveling to farms in Alberta and Saskatchewan doing warranty repair work and by the time I was 18 I had turned that into a business building grain bins for Ag Dealerships in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
I'd run crews all summer building as much as possible to get me through school in the winters without having to work. In 1999 an opportunity came together to build bins in Australia where I ended up working with great friends while travelling all over Eastern Australia meeting great people, exploring the incredible country, and making amazing memories.

My career began in sales and business development within a family-run manufacturing business, where I learned the fundamentals of building customer relationships and operational discipline. I later founded and led a custom manufacturing company, where I designed and managed end-to-end production workflows, balanced sales demand with delivery capacity, and built repeatable processes to ensure quality, reliability, and margin.
This experience shaped my systems-first mindset — understanding how strategy, demand, and execution must align for a business to scale sustainably.
Over the past decade, I’ve led marketing operations and systems design for growth-focused local and service-based businesses. Working closely with ownership and leadership teams, I effectively served as a marketing operations lead — aligning digital strategy, lead management, and sales workflows to support measurable growth.
Through this work, I identified that while strategies vary by business, scalable growth depends on strong foundational systems: consistent lead capture, lifecycle management, automation, and performance visibility. I designed and implemented repeatable frameworks, workflows, and SOPs that reduced manual effort, improved follow-up, and increased operational efficiency. These systems ultimately formed the foundation for LeadBeacon, a productized platform designed to make proven marketing operations frameworks accessible to business owners.
More recently, my work has focused on helping organizations stay visible and relevant in competitive, search-driven markets. Through local search and maps, I’ve helped businesses capture high-intent demand while ensuring marketing aligns with real customer expectations.
With experience on both the marketing and delivery sides of the business, I take a thoughtful approach to customer-facing AI — leveraging its benefits to improve clarity and responsiveness, while applying it carefully to preserve authenticity, trust, and human connection across the customer journey.

I build and optimize end-to-end lead and revenue workflows — from demand capture and qualification through follow-up, conversion, and post-sale communication. This includes CRM architecture, automation, lifecycle management, analytics, and platform integrations that improve visibility, accountability, and performance.
My experience spans local and regional growth environments, where I’ve applied local search, maps, and data-driven optimization to capture high-intent demand. I’m comfortable working across digital channels, sales enablement, and strategic selling, with a focus on aligning technology, process, and people around measurable outcomes rather than isolated tactics.
I also bring a practical approach to emerging tools, including AI, using them to improve efficiency, insight, and customer experience while maintaining clarity, authenticity, and operational discipline.
Outside of work, I’m deeply invested in family and in creating environments — both physical and digital — that function well. I enjoy organizing and improving my shop as much as I do refining systems and workflows, and I’m constantly looking for ways to reduce friction and increase clarity.
I’m an active member of the pinball community, where I enjoy the blend of mechanics, software, strategy, and design — a microcosm of the systems thinking that motivates much of my work. Music and time in the mountains provide balance and perspective.
Since I was young I can recall being fascinated with the concept of flow / flow state / the zone.
It was this feeling that only happened to me occasionally. Usually when I was doing things that lit me up... like, skiing, guitar, pinball, disc golf, etc.
The feeling was like everything sort of slowed down and my actions were nearly effortless. I would get complete clarity. Total focus on the situation at hand and be able to execute the correct actions with complete ease... intuitively.
Recently, I've discovered that there are always a few common pillars present at times I get into these flow-states that seem to unleash a superpower-like ability for seeing creative solutions and unique perspectives that are otherwise overlooked.
I've learned that for me, accessing this state is possible when at least 3 of the following pillars are present in the equation:
